Il Prisma led the branding strategy, positioning, and experience design for DeCamondo Galata, a Tribute Portfolio hotel in Istanbul, Turkey.
The hotel encompasses two distinct properties: DeCamondo Galata House Building and DeCamondo Galata Banque Building. Located just one block apart, both buildings sit in the heart of Istanbul’s most popular and vibrant neighborhood.
Inspired by the values of Tribute brand—captivating design, vibrant social scene, and sincere service—Il Prisma’s Destination team developed the concept “The Social Exchange”, positioning the hotel and its experiences as an inspirational journey in the cosmopolitan heart of Turkey.
The branding strategy is built on three core pillars: Ca’ Del Mondo – inspired by a cosmopolitan family that bridged Istanbul and Paris, the hotel blends old structures with new elements, positioning itself as a world citizen and cultural bridge; Cultural Philanthropy – reflecting the Camondos’ community-focused philanthropy, the hotel actively engages with the local area, becoming a cultural beacon and integral part of the urban fabric; Memories Collecting – drawing from the Camondos’ passion for art and collecting, the hotel offers unique experiences by showcasing their objects and sharing their stories with guests.
